Sarah Connell

I am currently enrolled as a student at Laurentian University in the Bachelors Indigenous Social Work Program. My current student loan is $41,096.35 because I have already graduated from two college programs. I work at a local Tim Horton’s while I study to help cover my expenses. My income is too low to pay my expenses and pay off my student loans so I have had to apply for the Government Repayment Assistance Program 3 times to help lower my monthly loan payments. I have returned to school with the hopes that this time around I can find employment post-graduation, but I am constantly worried about finding a job. I have had several anxiety attacks because I am stressed that I will be caught in the same predicament of unemployment after I graduate and that I won’t be able to pay off my even higher student loans.
