I have spent the last 8 years in school fully supported by OSAP. I tried to work while in school but couldn't balance the workload and my parents have just enough to support themselves. Including the OSOG deduction I now owe $67000. I finished in August 3 months ago and I still haven't found a job in my field, electronics engineering, yet despite having a professionally made resume sent to countless jobs I am qualified for. Thankfully, my Dad took me in and I work two minimum wage jobs for now. I probably wont be able to afford a house, car or a wedding until my early thirties, assuming I find a job in the next few months. Otherwise, the situation is even worse.
